The beautiful red mare trotted into the breeding grounds, she knew she was here and wanted to be here. Dragon had not come for a while and she had left him without much thought. She did not love him anymore, and she did not think he loved her. Flipping her mane she stopped out in the open, she knew a stallion could come breed her at any time.
The scent of Dragon had left her after him being away for so long and she had not been bred for a long while.. her scent was beautiful, and filled the air. She smiled and trotted over to a patch of trees, she was visible, but could see everyone else from here. She pawed the ground looking for some grass, but it was all bitter, and she did not have much of an appetite. The femme sighed and glanced back up.
Her thoughts wandered to Emerald, how she was doing, and if she was safe... even if she was queen somewhere. She hoped Emerald was, she was a smart mare. She flicked her tail again out of boredom and dipped her red skull to chew on the grass. It was tasteless, but it gave her something to do. When she was done she lifted her head. The mare was bored, but she began to think about what stallion would come along. If he would be kind to her, and give her the choice to come with him, or if he would act crazed and breed her then herd her to his land. She shivered at the last thought and waited for a prince to come and help her...

Chocolate Surprise trotted into the land. His dark dull bronze colored coat shone as it was starting to fall out, Spring coming upon the lands fast. His ebonite pillars were strong and dark. His skull raised as his paper-thins sniffed the air, drinking in the scent of a fresh, unclaimed mare.
He broke into a slow canter, the rhythmic strides leaving crescents in the damp soil. He saw the crimson-mare, her coats shining look drying bllood. It gave her an almost eerie look, but also a stunning fully beautiful one at the same time.Surprise snorted to announce his presence and spoke, his deep voice booming.
"Greetings."

The red mare looked at the stallion who had spoken to her. She nodded to him and offered a small smile, she glanced him up and down, then spoke in a soft, musical voice.
"Hello."
She stood still, there was a breeze that made her mane and tail whisp to her side. She looked at him, he seemed to be a show off, and she did not like that. She was assuming this, but she felt he liked to charm mares, get them to think he was all nice until he wanted something from them.. but she tried to shake off the thought. This was her chance to be in a herd, she wanted to stay positive.
