The black mare, Silver Rose walked up the mountain. Her daughter was down the mountain, she could see her. With Boodica or Incognito she assumed. She stopped on the mountain, it was cool up here, as fall was coming. She came up for one company, or peace and quiet.
She was not new still, but lowest of mares, and though she'd grown close to Inco, she really didn;t know the mares well. The mare was one to go talk to them and introduce herself, but with moving and meetings and being new and having a filly she'd found no time yet. She nickered quietly for anyone.
Flicking her tail she look out over the mountain. Her mane blew beside her, as did her whipcord, she let them flow and soon the wind died down. Everything was still except for the small gusts and it was quiet. Like she's never heard before. No leaves to rustle, no animals to scurry.

Viali had expected to be alone. Eury wanted to speak to her, and she didn't want to look like some insane person (which she was..but...) in front of the herd. Her voice had stopped talking long ago though and now she was alone on the Mountain.
Donovan was being watched along with the other young ones, while she got some rest. Kishi had already watched them today; it was no longer her turn. It felt strange addressing herself as Kishi. For all the herd knew, Viali was her full name. She liked a little mystery.
Her dial flicked as she heard a nicker. It rode the wind, and her strange teal eyes found that it belonged to Silver Rose. Viali had observed her; Eury more so. "Hello.'' She kept her tone kind, but it was still harsh in her own way.

Silver Rose looked at the mare who spoke, startling her a little bit. She watched the foals a few more moments before turning to the mare. "Hello Viali. It is a pleasure to see you, I came up to think. You?" Yes she was kind, and kind of hyper, though she contained it. Smiling soflty she moved carefully to the mare, making sure not to loose her footing.
She thought nothing of the mare, seeming kind enough, though solitary too. She never really talked to those except for one, Inco. But this did not bother the fae and she did not judge. she moved beside the mare, but leaving space as they weren't the best of friends. And Rose didn't feel awkward.

Viali managed a warm smile, but was sure that it came out as more of a grimace. She had never been too good at smiling. Her friend, Chepri, had noticed it quite often and commented on it as well. They called her 'vampire' then, because of her nighttime love.
"The same, Rose. I came up her to see the moon rise."
Viali murmured softly, not needing to speak loudly, seeing as they stood closely. It was a bit uncomfortable for her, being so close to another, but she didn't let it show.

Rose smiled and nodded at the mare's words. wondering wiether she should ask her or not. She decided to though and her voice was soft and motherly, but mature too.
"Viali. Why do you not make an effort to get close to anyone but Inco? You must get lonely do you not?" She wondrred why the mare did this, rose herself was working on it, and noticed the mare's not much used smile, but did not show.
-I have to go, no time to modify, I am done -

Kishi Viali stood still for a minute. She didn't move a single muscle, as if she had not heard Rose's questions. Teal orbs closed shut, and suddenly and weariness descended upon her. With a deep breath, let out in a exhausted sigh, she answered.
"No...Rose. I do not get lonely."
Her tone was calm, but something unnerving lay just under the surface, just beyond reach. " As for the reason why I don't try to attach myself to anybody...is...that.. I just don't want to get hurt when they leave." With a sluggish surprise, Viali noted that she was sharing something that she had been afraid to admit to herself.

Rose stood on the snowy rocks, looking down as Arabella stood down there, playing with herself. The femme spoke twice, and Rose did not turn. She was not arrogant, she was listening. Her auds twitched back and forth as she caught the words. Nodding she turned her head and walked to the mare. Nuzzling the mare might upset her, so she smiled warmly. "Viali, I would never leave you. In fact, since Inco has not been around much, I was wondering if you wanted to leave with me to a herd. A different one."
Shaking her mane, she moved beside the mare. She knew she should join arabella soon. Maybe Viali would decline, and she wouldn't know anyone to go with, she was due to drop Arabella off to Arrow. Maybe that's where Silver rose would go. His Lead Mare had died, though she din't really want the position. Shaking her mane she moved forward, indicating she was going to slowly decend the mountain to join her daughter and leave.

Viali tensed at the gentle touch of Silver Rose. She hated being touched. It had always been hard for her accepted nuzzles or light nips. Still, she wasn't rude, and didn't move away. Rose's words ran circles in her head, and she pondered the wisdom of moving on. True, Inco hadn't been present for a while now, but surely he would appear sometime right? Eury laughed at this, mocking her for holding onto that belief. Eury spoke for them, her voice coming clearer than Viali's had, crisper.
"Of course,we-I would."
Eury mentally cursed, and put on a wry grin. She hoped that Rose would mistake her I for Donovan and Kishi instead of herself and Viali. It would only cause complications further on if she thought Viali had something wrong with her.

ooc: rose did not touch her
Rose flicked her tail, plotting an escape. Nodding, she moved forward, beckoning Viali to come. Slowly and carefully she made her way down the mountain. Her body swayed gracefully and she nickered to Arabella as she came closer. The filly danced to her. Silver rose's heart was heavy, knowing Arabella would have to go to Arrow she knew she coul steal her away, but Arrow was kind and that's what Arabelle needed. For now at least.
Arabella knew what was coming and nodded. "Mom, I am leaving for Silver Arrow's now. I hope you fare well. And I love you." The filly was excited and bubbly though, nuzzling her mom she danced off. Over the border she whinnied a good-bye to the mares. Arabella was gone..
Silver Rose stood still, looking after her filly, mare, and knowing she would be happy an safe. Whinnied for Viali she reared and whinnied more loudly a good-bye to any mares still here. Standing she waited patiently to find a new home, with Viali, a new friend. [/color]

Donovan had come up while Rose had made her way down the mountain. He had said a mumbled good-bye, but that was all. It was all that was needed for Viali. "Goodbye, Donovan. Take care of Snow Mountain, if you can, for memories sake." The pale, ghostly colt nodded and went on his way, most likely to inform the others of the recent happenings.
Kishi Viali came up next to Rose, a slight grin on her face, only a shadow of what Eury's had been though. "Shall we begin?" She said, happiness winding through the calm tone.

ooc: Sorry Rose nodded and smiled. "Yes, let's go." She set off with Viali, guessing maybe Donovan would claim the land, since Boodica's colts were much too young, and without a father around, they weren't heirs. Smiling and happy for Donovan's success the mares set off. the black fae's legs moving in rythmn. ooc: sorry it's short, umm I'll make a thread in Sunny Meadow.
