- She didn't stare but ok- Silver listened to him. Wondering what would ceom from her, colt, or filly? His words made sense and she nodded. The sun started setting, oranges, yellows, and reds danced in the sky.
He spoke again and she listened, but no reply was needed.Out of the corner of her eye his skin twitched and she felt a little bad. She gave him a small apologetic, and not to worry smile and looke down. Barrel widder it seemed by a bit now, and shadows casted on the ground now.

ooc| Stare doesn't almost mean gawking. it also means looking
They both eventually got caught up in their own thoughts though were simutaneously thinking about the same thing. Incognito was oblivious to this and merely assumed she had silenced herself. It really didn't matter whether he had a colt or a filly, because either way they would be forced from the herd no later than by the age of 3. Attention briefly shifted as he sensed Silver Rose had changed, noticing her sorrowful expression. Muzzle pressed against her plush in reassurance, hopefully getting her to look back up.
Never feel ashamed around me, Silver Rose. If ever I truly have a problem with you, I will tell you.
Smile was offered to her before his body shifted - appendages bringing him to face her posterior, though their shoulders were aligned. Incisors were brought gently upon her barrel, grooming the area with utmost care as well as her posterior to aid with her health as much as he could; he could only do so much.

Silver listened to Incognito. His words were honest and true and she smiled and met his eyes. "I am sorry. I was just wondering who could have possibly done it to you?" Incognito was a strong, confident, just, caring stallion. she was implying someone attacking him, not Incognito starting any fight of any sort. Of course he probably had, most stallions did.
He moved forward and she did not back down or stutter. Her neck moved around his shoulder and she carefully groomed his it. It was almost spotless, then again there wasn't so many ticks and trees and long grass for things to find their way onto his dark pelt.
She smiled inside herself while she groomed him. She was home...

Muscles rippled quite plainly but he did not try and move away from the mares affections - even a leader needed some TLC sometimes, especially grooming. Snort blew across the mares flesh to scatter the dust which he had lifted from her skin before he paused to look at her.
Just from living, I guess. Most herd leading stallions are almost always fighting - if not another stallion for territory or mares, then a mare for claiming or breeding. I've only been in a few serious battles, but 6 years of it can accumulate quite easily upon ones body.
He smiled at her, gaze looking at her own scars. She didn't have many because she was a mare, but some were from Deadly Sin while she still had scabs that had yet to fully heal. An expression of disdain came upon the brute's gaze as he looked back to silver Rose.
Mares have their own scars, I've come to realize. Most of there's are inside though, and few, regardless of where they are, should ever be caused by a stallion.

Silver gave up on grooming him, his pelt was clean and fine, she had nothing to clean. He backed away at the sane moment and she smiled ot herself. She nodded. "Yeah." Though there was no real reason to reply.
She remembered her scar ,mostly from Deadly Sin and Angel. Even their colt was a devil, no surprise. Auds danced tot he sounds around her but she focused on him. Twinsets picked up his voice and she listened in.
"Yeah. I guess we are different than stallions, unfortunatley I have seen the other side of scars. BUt I understand, we hold them in our heart, our hearts can be scared. I think you can too." She smiled.

He had returned to grooming her only briefly before he quite just around the same time she had. Much of her flesh was about as clean as he could manage for now until his jaw had time to rest. He withdrew himself once more from her and though listened to what she had to say, was facing away from her and looking up towards the mountain with interest.
Tell me dear Rose, that those shadows up their are only shadows?
Movement had caught his eye just as he had moved away from the mare. Gaze was met with low moving figures, too small to be horses but too big to be simple rabbits. He could not smell them because there was no wind from the mountain, but his instincts tugged at his nerves and spoke of predators.

She smiled to him and spoke. "Thank you, Incognito." She bent down to pluck some grass, and he spoke. Instantly it clicked in her mind and her neck craned up to look to the mountain. The figures started decending and she knew what they were after a moments view.
"Wolves. Incognito wolves!" Silver Rose reared and scratched the air. The wolves stuttered for a moment but started running to them. Thye came closer and closer until they were almost as their feet........
One came behind Rose and bit her rump. She did not scream as not to worry Inco, and screaming and running in fright would help no one, they hed to keep them from going to the rest od the herd, and for there was nothing to worry about, she wasn't going to die. She looked behind her and two were there. One was going for Inco! She stamped with her hind legs on the one the had grabbed her and kept doing so until it fell limp in the snow.
The other wolf dove for Inco and she reared and pawed the air their infront of his rump, the wolf could not stop in mid air and ran into the flying hooves and his head was hurt. He ran to the rest of the pack. Rose turned around again, they had four more to go through.... OOC: *gasp!*

Incognito knew that the wolves would not stop there approach, regardless of Rose's attempts at intimidating him. Two wolves had actually come from the base of the mountain behind him which Rose was taking care of. The bastard's attention was on those approaching from above, but he could not tell how many there were. He paid very little attention to the mare because he felt comfortable she could handle herself; auds twitching as he heard them yelp and die. The second wolf that had come up behind them, although injured by Rose, managed to scale the mountain to it's pack as they were now almost upon them. Incognito had enough time to yell at Silver Rose just before the pack came down.
Leave Rose.
His words left very little room for her to argue and he gave no explination as to why. She knew she was pregnant and at this time the foal could be hurt by fighting. She had defended them both enough and he wanted to deal with the rest himself. Five wolves were a bit much even for a stallion, but one was already injured so there was only four.
Concentration shifted as they snarled, ever closer now and upon him. Cadaver shifted to become a fortress against the predators as well as pushing himself into their midst, hoping to threaten them. The injured wolf seemed content to stay back while the rest launched themselves upon him. The largest wolf, the alpha male he assumed, stayed back as well and watched, no doub waiting for an opporunity to strike while the rest of the pack distracted him. Incognito tried his best to keep some attention on the large male even while the other two came upon him. One was at his muscular chest while the other, a white female, was just behind him though towards the right. It was a stand-off at this point really as Incognito realized that the wolves had launched themselves as a bluff. Gaze shifted between all five of them, screaming out at them as well as hoping to frighten Silver Rose back otherwise he feared possibly hurting her in the process of defending her.

Hooves landed on the ground as the wolf fled. She hoped she had helped Incognito. She cantered away with her drowing belly. She turned and felt bad. She whinnied and one of thw wolved changed direction after her.
Of course they usually were in groups so two came. They came closer and she srtamped one on, while the other fled back to the pack. Now she cantered away, she had killed two, Incognito should be fine.
She moved to the side of the mountain, she saw a large cave there, it was cool and wet but would do until she knew Incognito had dealt with the wolves, her foal was on the line. Well, her and Incgonito's foal too. She gigled at the thought, then went quiet.
She waited for a while in the cool cave. Her body was cooling down quickly, but she was fine, for now. She instinctively looked to her barrel, and the foal kicked her. She winced slightly and smiled. Soon... Soon the angel would be coming.
She hoped for Incognitop to be proud, and happy at whatever she brought. Out of boredom she thought of names. For a boy, maybe Tyger, or Xiwang. If it is a girl... Vanelda. Yeah, I like that name. She smiled to herself and flice dher tail as she waited silently.

Aerial sensors flew back as Incognito heard the mare scream, noticing that two of the fives wolves changed their attack from him to Silver Rose. He could not block them as a large female finally launched herself at his posterior. Immediately he bucked and motivated the alpha male to attacked his head now that it was at a more reachable level. Cranium turned sharply to the left before being pulled into muscular curvature, gaze flicking back as hind irons slammed into female wolf's chest. Her claws scraped hindquarters but there was little time to react as the alpha male grabbed Incognito's nape. Once landing on all fours he twisted around, dial slung towards the heavens for the sake of riding the wolf of his flesh. Sickening tearing sound could be heard as the wolves jaws grasped him harder before gravity pulled the lupine away. Large chunk on the left side of his nape was removed and agape, about the size of a grown mans hand and very agonizing.
Adrenline pumped through the stallion so he felt very little, turning quickly to see the wolf he had kicked lying flat while the already injured had left. One wolf returned from attacking Silver Rose and the brute noticed that the mare was gone. Some relief became evident upon a blank facade before facing the only two wolves left - the Alpha male and one of his pack members. Incognito quickly scared them off by stomping his hooves, managing only to mar the alphas face and step on the other wolves toes before they departed.
Once he felt safe, Incognito turned and walked slowly in the direction which he had last seen Silver Rose. Hoarse voice called out to the mare, hurting to make the noise as it hurt the muscles around the gash in my neck. Stopping just short of the forest that led to the caves, blood dripping down left shoulder and chest, all the way appendages and towards the ground. Quickly a call was sent out for Boodica, seeking her help as well and hoping that Haviana would aslo show up. He seemed to be need her more for emotional and mental support than anything, regardless of their troubles.

Haviana trotted along the mountainside, the thick tree's sheltering her. Her hoof beats danced a rhythm as she trotted through the forest, thudding on the compacted earth. This far down the mountain the snow was melted and the tree thin thinner as she reached the base. Suddenly yowls and screams reached her listeners, quaking as she shook her mane. The sound's were so faint. She span and galloped. The got loudly as harsh stomping beat against the ground, scaring away the wolves..maybe dogs? Her heart almost stopped as she realised it was Incognito's screaming. Only a heavy body like his could shake the ground, vibrations running under her hooves as she cantered out of the tree line.
The screams had stopped, scream of fury at the intruders. Haviana bared herself, ready to face the wolves. Definitely wolves. She froze, seeing no one but incognito. The harsh scent of the wolves span to her nostrils as they flared....Blood. She smelt blood. Her light amber orbs grew wide as she saw the gash on Incognito's neck, the smell of the blood burning her nostrils. She rushed forward, her body sliding alongside Incognito's as he stumbled. She felt shivers go down her spine as his burning body pressed against hers. The blood from his neck bled onto her's, mixing with the sweat from the run."Incognito?" She said quietly, her voice breaking as she thought of the possibilities. No..It was not fatal. She let him lean against her.

-Urggg my post didn't post so this one is shorter- Mind interupted as she heard the fasint hoarse call. Silver responded with a concerned, friendly nicker and her black body came beautifully out of the gray cave. Orbs came into focus, and as did the face she knew best, Incognito. She looked more and the mare....Haviana? She was there too.
Silver Rose trotted over to them, she saw soem blood on the ground but some spilling onto Haviana's shoulder before sliding to earth, pulled by gravity. She nuzled Icognito ever so lightly on the opposite side of where she could see the blood and then moved around to see it.
The large red gash of flesh and muscle was what she saw, but she refrained from gasping. She looked at Haviana. "Is there any stream or creek nearby?" Then she looked at Incognito. "Could you walk there if Haviana gives me the answer I want?"
The warming body moved beside Incognito, sure to keep him warm, and Haviana for support. She cocked her head around, waiting for the answer she whinnied loudly for the other mares.

By no means was I extremely weakened by the gash on my nep, but the adreniline had completely passed from my blood so I now stood appearing exhausted. Gradually the pain rose on the left plane of my neck, as it had been numbed through out the events of the battle. It tingled only for a second before it became a throbbing pain, provoking me to tause my skull in obvious aggrivation at the discomfort. I was sensative to every touch at this point - the breeze seeming to claw at my hide, the occasional pest like a dagger. Thus Haviana's touch and comfort was at first rejected as my muscles and skin undulated with the effects of the tenderness of my wounds. Appendages shifted as I withdrew from the mare, having no desire to get my blood upon her frame for fear that the wolves may return to finish me off; it was not so uncommon. I did not want Haviana to become a new target yet I was suddenly barricaded as Silver Rose came to my other side. I snorted as a sign of mild defeat, but still refused to allow the mares to touch me. Hind legs were stiff as I shifted my weight, for although they were merely scratched by the claws of the female wolf who had attacked my rump, the lacerations seemed almost as painful as the marring of my neck.
Aerial sensors barely moved, my hearing numb to both of the mares words as the snarling and ripping of flesh was all I still heard. Cranium shook and tossed once more as I forced my attention on the present, catching the last words of Silver Rose which caused me to look at her critically.
I am hurt, not dying.
My tenor was harsh as if I had been insulted - quite frankly I was insulted by both mares. I did not mind their care or catering but they acted as if I was about to hit my knees and breath my last breathe. None the less I remained placid and nodded cooperatively to Silver Rose, looking at Haviana as I slowly made my way to a stream on the lower part of the mountain - the only running water available during the winter. The cold bit at me as I suddenly noticed the drop in temperature as evening came upon us. I still remained alert and was constantly looking around me, wondering if the lupines were still about. Nicker was sent back to my mares, beckoning them both to stand equally along side me to ensure their safety - hierarchy would not get in the way of the safety of my mares.
