Water logged appendages shifted sluggishly beneath their dark, ebon master. Aerial sensors were pinned to his dome not only to prevent the rain from tickling his auds, but to show his aggrivation provoked by the constant raining. It wasn't even storming anymore like it had in the beginning of the season. There was just dark clouds and hard showers, the temperatures getting cooler every day as winter came closer making the rain even worse. Incognito was not so bothered by chill in the air as the rain. It could easily make any of his herd members sick, especially the mares that were pregnant. The foals would be taking a lot of their energy and nutrition, weakening their immune systems. He would hate for any of his mares to fall ill or worse; die.
The bastard had some good news for his newest mare, Silver Rose. He didn't put all of his belief into the information he had recieved but felt it would help Rose if she knew. Thus he stopped just short of trodding upon the base of the mountain and called for the mare, hoping the rain would at least slacken by the time she got here.
ooc| Since you want to rp so bad I figured I'd make a thread for me and you, Lindsay.

-lmao!- Silver Rose had been worrying about her foal coming, she had protected hers and been succesful almost everytime, but this weather and a killer of a winter coming, it might not be good.
Black skull lifting up and she whinnied back to Incognito. she did not quiet have a large belly yet so she cantered to him and smiled when he came into her silver view. She snorted softly and dipped her head. "You wanted me, Incognito?" she asked. she wondered what it was about.
Black mane flipped from side to side as she warmed herself up. Her leg tingled with some cold but she ignored it, looking straight at her King, respectfully.

The rain had in fact stopped to a very light mist which was better than before. Incognito looked to the heavens briefly, flesh twitching as the fine, tiny droplets of water landed almost unnoticed on him. Gaze shifted back to the land before him, auds forward now as he was alerted to the approach of Silver Rose. He soon found her petite frame amongst the mountain rocks and trotted slightly forward so they could meet.
Yes, I was wondering how you are fairing in the herd.
He was interested, hoping she felt better here than with Deadly Sin as he looked her over critically. She seemed alright and as long as the foal came before winter, it should have a jump start before food became scarce. He would be nursing anyways.

Silver helped clear the distance between them, black hooves bringing her to him. Snow lightly fell here, and this wasn;t the worst of it. But she was reasonably warm and alright. Aude picked up Incognito's voice as she listened.
Her mind thought of words to say, over everything that had happened the images her in mind of Sin's land seemed fuzzy. Havana dieing, Angel charging her, Sin nuzzling her, all scary and haunting.
Lyrics sung into the air as Silver spoke. "Well Incognito, I will be forever grateful to you. That hell hole makes your mountain look and feel like heaven. My world is once bright again and I am happier than I have ever been, I have no more burdens, and he has given up on me, that lazy bastard."
she smiled weakly and thought about her words, truely honest. she hated Sin with all her being, she hated Angel,s she was dissapointed in Lunar, and loved Inco for saving her life, she loved her coming foal, she loved life now.

Indeed, it had begun snowing which the bastard assumed he had mistaken for mist. It was so fine and hardly noticeable and he was so accustomed to it storming... it didn't matter. He had allies that he could move his herd to if it got too bad, which with all the water he may have to. Once the water frozen everything would be slick with ice - not good for any pregnant mares or foals. Incognito didn't want to do this though, he wanted to keep his herd here and not intrude on any studs land. If it came to saving his herd though he would sacrifice his pride.
Listening intently to the strong words of Silver Rose, he nodded and chuckle. Amusement drifted across his facade although his expression still harbored inquiry and authority. Aerial sensors flicked and twitched with curiosity, nodding as she spoke of Deadly Sin giving up on her.
Thats what I originally wanted to tell you, that Sin has decided not to fight to get you back. I'll still be on the defensive until the foal is born since both you and the foal will be safer then, but try not to stress to much. I don't see the stallion tresspassing here...
He was confident of his skills regardless of who it was, but Deadly Sin was nothing but a bluffer. Cranium shook to rid his mind of these aggrivating thoughts, looking back upon Silver Rose. Appendages brought his black, muscular cadaver to her side. Barrel was pressed against her ribs, shielding the light snow and hopefully warming the fatale.
No need to be in debt Silver Rose. You have endured a lot and it is only natural to want something better. You carry my foal, are loyal to me and are the first mare to get alone with the rest of the herd - especially Boodica. I can't ask for much more.
He smiled gently at her, russet orbs staring directly at her own eyes.

-He can go to silver arrow if you are going to, just clearing that - Silver smiled broadly when he chuckled and giggled slightly. She nodded at his words and sighed relief, she knew Sin was lazy and did not like fights, she had partially guessed it, but Inco confirmed it and she smiled more.
Incognito moved closer to her and she pressed lightly against him, his pelt was warm and felt nice against her side. She had not endured this before but would dot hat for Inco. He spoke and she listened intently and smiled.
"I will forever be Loyal Incognito." She smiled. "How do you know they like me?" She giggled and nodded. "Well I wish to get to know them further, and for them to trust me as yo have." Her black tail swished and her body was warm.

Although his position beside the mare was out of affection and protection, there was no intimacy. He didn't know Silver Rose well enough to give her anything more than what was required, though assumed she didn't mind since she was probably not entirely secure with him.
Dial shook to rid himself of the snow that had gathered around his ears. Small white flakes still dangled from his ebon mane, snorting at the mare to cast her gratitude aside.
Well you have a secure spot in my herd, as long as you stick around and remain respectful. Tones were strict as if setting down guidelines, yet there was no doubt as he listened to her inquiry. His mares were hard to read at times, especially Boodica. Just trust me. The mares I exiled are better off as outcasts than here. One was ignorant and seemed oblivious, the other was just too young and had a rank that she couldn't keep. He spoke more fondly of Wind Chaser even though he had defended Havana at Sin's herd. Boodica is the one you most need approval from, and considering I demanded that she protect you and the foal and she obliged... you'll be fine.
Although Boodica was naught but his Beta, her power to keep the rank is what gave her authority over the rest of the mares - not him saying she did. She often helped him decide on whether to keep a mare or not because she didn't let her jealousy's or hatred effect her professional relationships with the herd mares.

Her eyes looked out forward, watching the snow flakes fall. Her black coat was not dappled with white. She nodded to his words, listening closely. I can do that.... she loked around the mountain one more, wondering how she could have gotten this lucky and ended up here.
"I understand. I hope you understand, I tried to save Havana, but I couldn't. Sin, Angel, and Lunar would have turned on me." She flicked her black tail, mind drifting to her luck again. Her foal would be all black, probably. She wondered what Incognito wanted most. a filly or colt.
Aude listened to him again. "I only wish to please you and the mares, and whatever it takes to win their friendship and trust, I'm doing." she looked down at the ground, then back up at him and smiled and giggled, a sweet sound.

Cranium inclined slightly so that his incisors may nip at his muscular chest. The snow was melting upon his heated body causing them to melt and then drip down his chassis. The sensation it created was aggrivating and tickled causing his caudal appendage to twitch and flick constnatly. Appendages shifted every once in a while beneath him, hardly any snow for his hooves to land on because it melted too fast. It wasn't really that cold down here on earth, but the sky was apparently frozen.
Muzzle was lowered to touch some lucious blades beneath his front legs. Labrums parted and grasped them between his teeth, ripping them from the ground and gnawing on them while he listened to Silver Rose. Havana's death did not pain him all that much, and he preferred to look at the more optimistic side of things.
I didn't really know her that long, Silver Rose, so the anger I showed over her death was purely instinct and the hatred for Deadly Sin. Besides, if it had not happened you would not be here. He spoke matter-of-factually before dial lowered once more to take a few more bites. He spoke once he swalled. I've always considered myself easy to please, but I can't speak for my mares collectively. They are all there own, but as previously stated you're doing fine thus far.

Silver watched him eat as she had spoken, realizing herself was hungry. But she didn't nibble on the green shoots, her eyes stayed on him, then to the mountain, moving every so often as she spoke.
As she stopped speaking for a monet she moved her neck, allowing her to snort warm air on her chest and it tingled. Her chest twitched a few times before calming down and realizing the mare was done.
He spoke and she took her turn and lifted green shoots outof the ground and faced him as she chewed. "I guess... I guess I feel for every mare who experiences death or torture. And Sin, wil never see the light, I can guarantee you that."
His warmth was now a part of her and she didn't feel him anymore. She shifted ever so slightly, not anxious or anything for breaking the silence, and rested her left hind leg. Twin sets turned as she heard a bird soar over them and she looked up.
When she had been a young filly she remembered playing with one of her friends, the only other filly in her herd atthat time, and they used to chace butterflies and birds and dance around the grass.
He spoke again and her recolection was shattered, but she did not mind. "I think you are. But everyone's got a different personality, maybe they're shy, anxious, scared of something and come of aggressively, anything. But you gotta try to see where there coming from to reach them." She smiled and chewed some more grass.

Incognito felt for the mares who had to endure brutes like Deadly Sin. He was more sympathetic to them sometimes than what he should be, but it was still beyond his comprehension why a stallion would lack the manners that Sin did. Mares were not meant to endure such brutality and a femme was certainly an unfair match for any stud, yet Silver's old leader seemed to get his pleasures off of torturing those that were beneath him in strength. When it came to a real opponent like Incognito himself, the bastard was quick to back down. It was amazing and gave all the wrong ideas to mares - discouraging them from wanting to join herds and shunning the idea of being submissive to a lead stallion. Deadly Sin was the type that made it even more difficult for half decent studs like Incognito to get mares, for fear that they would get some power-hungry, ignorant colt!
Lids opened and closed rapidly to clear his mind, always trying to resist thinking about the brute which aggrivated him so much. It was an unncessecary stress and something that often showed through his expression and body language. Even while thinking, irritation had drifted upon the mascu's facade and his stature became tense and almost uncomfortable. He slipped right back into his normal authoritative and placid self, auds pricked as he listened to Silver talk about personalities. Auds pinned as he took the mares words to be scolding or lecturing him. A thought crossed his mind that she may be only observing and stating her opinion, thus he snorted to cast the brief moment of aggression away before speaking in a collected tone.
There are some you cannot reach though, Silver Rose, such as Deadly Sin. He is far too caught up in his own miserable ways, blaming his dismal actions on insanity or being possessed instead of taking responsability for his actions. Rest assured, he will pay for what he has done.
This was not to say that Incognito was plotting against the bastard, but his words were none the less threatening and sinister as he snorted once more before withdrawing from the mare since it had stopped snowing. The clouds slipped from the sun occasionally now, warming them with its rays.

Silver finished talkig and seemed to sense his mind going on a trip. His body tensed and she nudged him lightly with her muzzle in the neck to snap him out of it, but just as quickly as it had come, it left.
She sighed and dipped her midnight skull to pick some grass from the drizzled snowy earth which was now warming and she squinted her eyes as the sun came out and she got used to it.
She listened to Inco. "I know. I'm sorry to cause this stress, the haunting is rolling off my shoulders as we speak." She nipped him lightly and giggled as she quickly cantered away in the snow. She slowed and ate some more grass.
She did not wish for Inco to follow, or to leave her alone, it was his choice, and as not to agrivate her she drifted closer once again until she faced him.

Smiled caressed his labrums once more, nudging the mare back.
Please Silver Rose, quit worrying about it. You need to do nothing more than take care of yourself and the foal.
He spoke gently, snorting placidly as she nipped and giggled before retreating. Cranium tilted as he watched her canter away motivated by the sun and its warmth no doubt. Appendages brought him forward in her direction before she came upon him, staring face to face.
Have you thought about whether you want a filly or colt Silver Rose?

Silver shook her mane and smiled. "I have given a fair amout, and I know how to treat each. I wish for what you wish, I don't mind either." She smiled sweetly. "I know what it will look lke though, black no doubt. Dark eyes like the both of us."
She smiled and looked into him. She had never noticed the scars on him before but tried to ingnore it, no problem of course. There was no way he was acting about all this, caring, kind. She knew he wasn't and she shook if off.

Caudal appendage flicked carelessly, listening to Silver Rose and nodding.
I do not have any specifics right now. A colt has both its pro's and cons - a son, able to take my place should I die suddenly, but then again he could very well replace me. My daughters... they profit me very little as a leader, but do continue my blood line and are very good for trading. I don't usually bother with the statistics on either though, nature will decide. Cranium moved in an up and down motion as if agreeing with himself. There is a greater chance of the foal being black than anything else, but as I said before - nature will do as she pleases.
Appendages shifted as he noticed the mare looking upon his frame. Tassel flicked nervously, wondering why she was inspecting his frame. This caused his flesh to twitch and make the scars she was staring at dance. Auds circled around upon his dome, listening as he as still on edge when it came to Deadly Sin coming about.
