The young alphess had remained in the birthing grounds for quite some time, regaining her health after her laborous birthing as well as ensuring the foal would be well enough to travel back to their herd. He was a very strong colt, looked like his father with his paint markings and height, although his spots resembled Routtierre's blood red body and the colts body was refined just like her's. He would eventually look more proportional, since now his legs were long and his body bulky, with a dainty head like an Arabian's but a thick neck. Still, he was adorable and Routtierre nurtured him as she had done every other foal she had birthed. This one was different, technically being a heir since his blood was purely nobility. She was eager to show him to Silver Arrow, that she had kept her promise to him, as well as let the herd view him.
It had been too long since the fatale had been here, though she had only been gone a month between traveling to the birthing grounds, staying their a while and then returning. The colt danced beside her, not entirely oblivious to where they were at or why, but he could not hide is immature antics. Routtierre nipped at him a few times, demanding he stay beside her while they roamed around the herd land. She stopped in the clearing she and Arrow had been in when she first came to the land. There was no call, sensing that Arrow was close by and should spell the new stench of their foal. She watched him running around though he remained close. She still didn't have a name, but had some ideas.

Arrow had been waiting anxiously for Routterrie the past month, also glad she had given her self a break from the herd and could re coop. He had been trotting around with his mares when a new scent floated past his nostrils. It was a few minutes old and he followed it through the weakly beaten path. He came into the clearing, he hadn;t been here since he had met the stunning mare he had made his lead.
He appeared through the trees, his eyes laid on his lead, then he froze, a beautiful colt pranced around his mother and he stood frozen. He wondered what the colt's name would be, or if Routterrie had named it. He walked closer to Routterrie and nuzzled her passionaelty. "He has.... my pattern and some of your colour!" He smiled. The colt did look like something he and Routterrie had made and he was proud.

Cranium lifted slightly, alerted to the approach of another horse. Auds went forward to listen, nigrescent valves flaring to try and rezognize the scent. Gaze was soon directed to her left, the musk of Arrow stronger now, telling her that it was her mate. Her guard went down once she knew it was him, soon watching the large paint brute coming closer to her. Their son stopped what he was doing, Routtierre nickering at him, beckoning the 3 week old colt to come over. He did so without much refusal, standing proudly at the crimson hued fae's body, looking up at the unknown stallion who spoke.
Routtierre accepted her loves nuzzle by returning one, hoping to comfort him as she had sensed his pure awe of the foal. she then directing her gaze to their son.
Indeed, he is an even mixture of us both. I think he will grow up to be tall and muscular like you, but a bit more elegant and refined like his seductive mother.
Routtierre batted her eyes playfully at Arrow as she looked back upon him, caudal appendage flicking.
I considered the name Cazen for the little brute, a very strong and confident name.
At the sound of his name, Cazen looked at his mom, wondering what they were talking about before looking back at the brute. Dial inclined slightly to him in acknowledgement and respect, obviously inheriting some of Routtierre's mannerisms - though she had also told him to be admirable towards his father.

Arrow was still looking at the colt. He only silently nodded at the name and soon borke the gaze. "That is a good name." He look to Routterrie, shifting his Silver kind gaze to her. "What's he like?" He asked smiling. Of course the colt would be a tad scared of him, a large brute like himself.
But Arrow made himself swear to Routterrie and the foal which he had not known up till now, that he would try to be the best father to it. Arrow once again found his gaze moving to the small brute. "Hello Cazen." He said softly, but the sound of maturness in his voice also. "I am Silver Arrow. Your father." He snorted softly through velvet nostrils and genuinly smiled kindly.

Cazen was intimidated by the stallion, but more because he wasn't familiar and was a stranger. The size did not bother him as he found that all horses were much larger than he was - he had seen many on their way here. He looked questioningly upon at the brute, only assuming he was his father because Routtierre had shunned almost every other equine - especially stallions - away from him. These assumptions were confirmed as the stallion spoke, now knowing him as Silver Arrow. Cazen nodded in agreement, not sure what to say.
I'm Cazen, your son.
Unfortunately, Cazen inherited his mother's blunt and rather smart a$$ attitude as well - manners which Routtierre had revealed only to a select few mares of the herd.
Routtierre merely smiled at her sons reply, watching him stand before his father though without any intention of defiance.
Well, so far he has a lot of my personality, but if you spend time with him I'm sure plenty of you will come out of that personality of his. She paused, looking back up to Arrow. Otherwise he is quite playful, normal for a foal really. He listens exceptionally well though, seems interested in other females, Her gaze was critical on Arrow, giving him a humerous look before she continued, but he still has a lot of personality to develop, he's only three weeks after all.

Arrow chucled and nodded. He nodded to Cazen, then looked at Routterrie and listened. "Mhhm." He chuckled aain at the mare part and smiled. Arrow was glad for the alone time at first, but now didn't mind if the other mares came in.
He already thought about the future. Would Cazen sub-herd, and ask to take one of his mares? Would he let him. He also had to talk to Routterrie about what he wnated to before she had left... He nickered softly for the other mares. He shook his mane and bobbed his head up and down.

Wondering where the other herd members were as well, Routtierre lifted her dial to look around the clearing. It seemed the herd was off and on when it came to activity, but she was confident in both her and Arrow that it would all be alright.
Bored, Cazen moved from his mother's side only to turn around and suckle for a while, causing Routtierre to stand uncomfortably as it would take time to get used to having a foal once more. The colt soon moved away and began exploring the clearing, though refrained from getting close to the trees. They were dark and he didn't know where they went, feeling safer near his sire and dam.

Arrow's mind suddenly clicked and he whispered in Routterrie's ear as to not arouse Cazen and disturb him. "Remember the wolves? Keep him close and I'll keep you two safe!" He nuzzled her and bent his head down, all the rain had cause a flourishing in grass and even in shadowed areas there was some. He nibbed on the rich, bright green grass happily.

She nodded in agreement with Arrow, though believed Cazen should be allowed to wander a little. She looked at Arrow as he grazed, dial lowering to nip at his ear.
Maybe you should take your new son around the forest, get to know him and bond.
Routtierre had plenty of time with the colt and would enjoy some time to herself - she hadn't really been alone since Arrow had claimed her. She wanted some time to herself, no matter her love of Cazen and Silver Arrow. They needed time to get to know each other anyways, and she wanted her son to be comfortable around his father.

Arrow smiled and nodded. "Yes he should. And stretch his legs, I'm sure you didn't run with him." He knew his mares needed time to themselves and even with a colt Routterrie didn;t get that and he obliged. He turned to Cazen and trotted to him.
He looked at his son. "Hey Cazen, do you want to go look around the forest?"

Routtierre nodded, nuzzling Arrow before he left and then starting to grace, before leaving the clearing to find a more solitary place.
Cazen lifted his head suddenly, hearing his mother move and watching her leave with wonder. Attention then shifted to his father as he approached, tiny auds twitching involtunarily as he spoke. Dial inclined once more in a nod, smiling at his father.
Sure.
Multihued chassis was suddenly at the left of his sires, remaining close as he knew they would be entering the forest and he feared getting lost or hurt.

Arrow smiled at Cazen, proud. at first they walked around, her just showed him some of the forest animals, the boundaries of th territory, then he turned to Cazen. "wanna stretch those legs?" He smiled and started a slower canter through the trees, he slowed and waited for Cazen to try.
-Want some wolves to come for excitment?-

Cazen soon realized that the forest wasn't that bad but he still remained at the side of his father. Dial lifted as he addressed him, delight in his eyes as his gaze followed his retreating father. Cazen had not used his legs in such a way, and his cooridation was not very good. Still, he tried to imitate his father and canter after him. He was rather quick actually, but tripped more than once and couldn't stay in a straight line. He bucked out of frustration just feet from his father, snorting as his mood was no irrate. He looked to his father for guidance, trotting over to him.
ooc| not for right now.

-I know, kay-
Arrow watched his son. He went over to him and nuzzled him once gently. "Don't get frusterated Cazen. That was really good you know! I've actually never met a foal who can run like you, so soon! Want to go to the river and have some fun?" He smiled and turned to go to it running through the middle of the forest.

Smile appeared upon the small brutes labrums at his fathers praise, though it was the only sign of the happiness it gave him. He didn't want to seem eager for attention or needing praise all the time. He always tried his best, determination that came from his parents and his gender.
Brown eyes moved as his father ran towards the river, appendages collecting beneath him with over-eagerness. He stumbled on his first step but quickly caught himself, then slowed himself to a trot and coming to his fathers side.
Alright but I'm going to beat you their!
In reality Cazen couldn't, but he hoped that his small body may be easier to navigate as he bolted into the forest, running wildly through the large timbers and low limbs. He broke through the foliage and found himself at the edge of the river, where he also noticed four other animals that were already present. They weren't much smaller than he, but furrier and with wierd tails. Something told him that they were bad and he screamed with both fear and rage, rearing and retreating at the same time as all four of the animals concentrated on him, approaching and snarling at him. Butt against a tree, he froze in terror, crying out for his parents.
ooc| now they can come x0
