A dun stag climbed into the canyon. He pawed the ground and reared, he felt like a fight.
Gladiator, struck the earth with his hooves, dust blowing up around him. He shook his black mane and called out, challenging any stag to come and fight him.

Incognito had a lot of aggression he needed to get out of his system, though why he came to the Canyons to do so he was unaware of. His interest was not to challenge for a mare or anything of the sort, rather content with the mares he had now. No, this was just a place he had been to only a few times while on his way to the Meadow or his own herd, so maybe he just decided to thoroughly investigate and dissect the area. This is not to say that had he of known there was a brute here simply looking for a fight that he would not have come, for as he heard the challenging call he became thoroughly interested.
Bugle resounded amongst the cave walls, replying to the challenge with a defiant warning call of his own. Muscular curvature bowed to bring dial into a protective stance over his gullet. Caudal appendage was elevated as a show of dominance, sinews undulating beneath ebon tapestry as he approached the dun stag. Irons ripped at the surface of the terrain as he halted, eyeing the bastard with pure rebellion, stature threatening and on the defense as he waited.

The stag stood proud, his cranium held high. He pawed the ground. "You want to fight me?"
He eyed the newcomer and snorted. "Maybe you should save your strength for your faes, as things there, seem to be getting out of control. Ive heard that, from some friends."

Aerial sensors twitched with interest at the brutes words, possibly attempting to get under his skin or whatever colts these days were scheming to do. Appendages shifted so that the patron may circle the horse before him, defenses settling down a little to mock the brute - revealing he did not feel threatened.
Friends, aye? Obviously none that I know, I don't befriend... brutes such as yourself.
Tenor remained the same - cool and placid, husky from his masculinity as he chuckled lightly. Indeed, brutes like this. What was happening to stallions these days? It was like they were all losing their masculinity, hiding behind false exteriors and being cowardly. He did nod to this horse in agreement, though his words were nonetheless insulting.
Yes, indeed. It's so hard to handle all of the mares I do, fighting with each other over rank and for my attention. You probably wouldn't know about that though, would you?
Rhetorical question, and Incognito was not looking for an answer or would he listen for one. He knew this brute about as well as the brute knew him, but he smelled very few mares upon him. Regardless, Incognito considered all of his mares to be much better than any other silly little fillies these colts were claiming. Perhaps now he should attack, most would out of anger. Incognito did not care, but was not hear to banter with some dismal creature such as this.
Now, did you come here to fight or cover up your jealousy through useless insults?
He got the respect he desired from his mares regardless of the problems they caused between one another. Havana was the only exception and she was just pushing her way farther and farther down the ranks by acting so ignorant. He still cared for her and could cater to her because it was his job and his responsability - very few things could deprive that instinct from him. Defenses were reset once more, though his gaze was so casual it was as if Incognito was looking upon a tree or, at best, a fly.

Gladiator flicked his tail, not listening to the insults of the stag, for he knew those about him, weren't the slightest bit true. "You lie to much." He told him.
Bored, not even wanting to fight any more, he turned and trotted off, back to his land.
