Opal A Precious Gem A fae trotted into the land, unknowing, where, exactly, she might be. She gave a whinny and stopped in her tracks.
This is.. Shadow Forest? She wondered, remembering Arrow, apparently king of this domain. She had left Delepio Meadow, where she had met him, and she had gone, as there had been too many crowding stags.
Is he here, now? She wondered.

Crimson Alphess slowly encroached upon the unknown mares presence, auds forward as an obvious sign of curiosity while her stature revealed every hing of authority and defense. Auburn orbs looked over the mare, seemingly unsure of where she was at. Routtierre didn't know if the mare just happened upon the herd or was claimed by Arrow. She assumed the stallion would escort those he had claimed, but perhaps he had other matters to attention to.
Shrugging off the idea, Routtierre stopped a few feet before her, looking at her critically. Valves flared as she inhaled her scent, hardly being able to tell that Arrow's musk mixed with it. She was still not 100% sure but would not make it obvious her doubt until this fae had time to tell her story.
My name is Routtierre, Lead of this land along side Silver Arrow. What brings you here?
Her question was simple and far from being accusing. Her voice was sweet and placid, though harbored a strictness about it.

Arrow trotted up beside Routterrie and smiled widely when he saw Opal, the mare he had talked to in Delepio Meadows. He flicked his tail and nuzzled Routterrie. "Hello Opal. It's good to see you here." He looked at Routterrie. "This is Opal. I met her in Delepio Meadows, but had to leave her because she had to decide." He shook his mane and pawed the ground.

"Yes. It is good to see you, also. Arrow. It seems.. That I have become lost.. Your land is very beautiful." She said with a sigh, looking around at her surroundings. She smiled at the stag and itched her foreleg.

ooc| Um, should I have just not bothered posting since you made no acknowledgement of Routtierre, or was that intentional?

Arrow smiled at her and replied. "It is. I am happy you like it, would you like to stay?" He flicked his tail. Why did she ignore Routterrie. If this keeps happening....I want a happy herd that gets along, maybe she will be happier soon and she'll be the kind horse I saw in Delepio Meadows. No, who am I kidding, she's fine. His thought turned back to reality as he stood, debating.

"If.. I was allowed to do so." She replied. She smiled at Routterrie. "Hello Routterrie"

Arrow smiled at her words, and even more when she greeted her lead! "You are. Welcome to the herd." He nuzzzled Routterrie. "Is that fine with you? It is also your choice."

Jezebel eyed the mare, suspicious turning to irritation at what seemed to be her intentionally being ignorant. Auds pinned slightly to show her distaste, extremely ready to speak although Arrow seemed ever ready to always keep her from saying much of anything. She sighed and let them speak, hardly giving the mare attention even as she acknowledged her, offering a mere nod. She looked at her mate, appendages adjusting her cadaver.
I don't care.
Her voice was low and calm, but challenged the mare slightly as her gaze returned to her.
Unless she continues to prove, otherwise.
Routtierre was not in the mood to deal with mares like this, regardless of whether the fae eventually spoke to her - it didn't matter. Even if Routtierre wasn't lead the challenge would have been made, hardly allowing anyone to dominate her other than Arrow.

She met Routtierre's gaze, annoyed. "Just trying to make friends here. You dont have to be so nasty, Routtierre." She stated. "Arrow, care to show me around?" She suggested.

"Ok Routterrie. ou are right, Opal will have to prove herself." They seemed snippy at eachother and he snorted to signal ending it. "Sure Opal. Routterrie, would you pease join us?" He whinnied loudly for Dove to join too. For she was new and had to look around. He waited for Dove to appear before he showed them the land.

And you might learn some manners, mare.
Retort was simple and she brushed the mare off like a fly, signaling mild defiance though now lacking interest. The mare posed her no threat and out of respect to Arrow Routtierre spoke nothing more, walking slightly away from the group before turning around to address Arrow's inquiry.
No thank you, Arrow.
Remark made, no further acknowledgement or insult made of the mare as she calmly retreated. She would probably join up with them later, but for the moment she found every mare going into this herd nothing but little wretches - hardly worth her time. Miss Opal was proving to be all the same, seeming somehow surprised by Routtierre's remark towards her when she failed to acknowledge her in the first place. The Alphess didn't know if it was ignorance or stupidity.

OOC: Julia I think is coming. She's nice hehe Arrow looked down, saddened at his beautiful lead's denial. He dragged himself to look back at Opal, still waiting for Dove he started off, showing her around the land, the creek, the good spots where grass was rare.

Opal snorted annoyed. "Your leads a bit grumpy. If you asked me." She said quietly to Arrow, watching Routterrie go.
