The evening was cool, though not cruely so...only pleasent. Standing at the edge of the meadow, the odor of the other mares ringing in her nares. Uttering a harsh snort as she walked the fine line of Delepio's border, teetering on it's edge like a bird on a wire. Boodica couldn't decide if she honestly wanted to enter here or simply go to the platue. Crimson pelt shimmered brightly through the thick casing of trees that made her feel as if she was partly out of sight. Earthen visionaries searched the land that she could see through the thick emerald brush, there were a few mares here and no stallions that she knew personally. As it would turn out Silver Arrow had disappeared, but that didn't really matter to her other than she would miss his friendship. He had come to her aid when she needed him most and he had ensured that she and her twins had flurished. With no cost to herself in payment, he'd never asked for a foal from her...simply her friendship and trust. Which Boodica gave with no restraint.
The thoughts of the past seemed to floor over days gone by, but now was a new day and she needed to get her mind in order so that she could give her heart to a new stallion and stop dealing with her memories. True she had loved her old stallion but had she honestly loved him as much as she had thought? Who could say, it was all a distant dream now.
Twisting her beautifully carved skull slowly around to peer in the direction she had come, luckily she had escaped without her sons. Roman would no longer let her out of his sight, unless he was unable to find her. Laughing quietly to herself at the thought of her son searching franticly for her when he realized that she had evaided him yet again. The cool air pushed it's invisable fingers through her thick dreads and train as she moved on out of the brush. Exposing herself to all of those that cared to look upon her. There was no point of hiding while you were in this land, there was only one true reason for being here. And yes that was why she was here...she could no longer set upon the mile high pedistal that her son's placed her upon.
Pushing herself off at a quick pace, Boodica cantered off gracefully towards the small stream that trickled through the middle of the meadow. Enjoying the feeling of the wind caressing her frame as she urged herself faster, crimson and sable bluring together as she moved easily along. Though almost as quickly as her movement had begun it skidded to a stop with a simple drop of the vix's bottom. Powerful pillars churned the earth, breaking it easily beneath sharp daggers as she moved to a well worn place near the stream. Dipping her dome slowly, duos perked forwards before swivling around to listen as she touched her velvet to the icy water. Now just to wait...and see.
