The painted stallion leaped, mid air over the creek. Clear water trickled under him as his body soared. His mane and tail flew back and his face forward. Soon he hit the ground with a thud, as he took a few steps to slow down. The strong stallion turning just short of the trees as he moved to the creek again. Dipping his head it was starting to get cooler and he knew this wasn't the greatest. His forests didn't get freezing, the worst that happened was pretty icicles on the trees, some snow and no wind.
The stallion reared and whinnied loudly, calling forthe herd to come. He thoought of Irish. She was sweet and kind, and beautiful. Lead now, and about to release their foal into the earth he much anticipated it. He knew his herd had grown signifigantly, that was good he knew. Flicking his tail he hoped Iriah to arrive soon.
Emerlad came next into his mind. She was pretty, and kind. Whole hearted and willing to help all the time. She was like his best friend, and he was looking forward to seing their foal again at the meeting. The colt was strong and smart. Mature, and gorgeous, from his mother.
He thought of Angel, who's left and Routterrie who's died. He remembered seeing her bloody figure weaving betweent eh trees, gracefully. She held a place in his heart. And although he knew she had thins wrong with her, personality wise sometimes he remembered everyone did, and pushed those thoughts to the back of his mind.
Boodica came into his mind too. The strong independant mare and her two sons. They were strong and poweful, resembling his old ally Incognito. He also thought of Raven. The filly he'd seen passing by Sandy Beach. He also thought of Alistar, who's mom had left him here. It was his choice though, he knew it. A good one at that and the colt would grown strong. Arrow had turned down a long period of time help to a colt he knew. So Alistar was lucky to recieve such grace from Arrow. But Arrow might kick hm out, just short of 2 years. Maybe close to three.

The red femme trotted slowly through the large trees, colt beside her. She flipped her mane and smiled down at him, hearing a whinny from Arrow. She had found out Routterrie had passed, and was sad at that, but excited to see who Arrow would pick as a new leader... She was here first, and was Second In Command, she had gotten along well with Routterrie and given Arrow a foal.
She did not expect becoming lead, though she hoped she would. She flicked her tail happily as Arrow came into view, she slowed to a trot and nuzzled Impression lovingly. She smiled at Arrow and sighed, taking a deep breath from her trot and stopping infront of him, she reached out and nuzzled him with a smile. Then flicked her tail and glanced at Impression, he was standing looking up at his father and mother happily, with big, round, curious eyes. She giggled and smiled back at him, then looked at Arrow.
"I'm sorry about Routterrie.." She said quietly. "Have you decided who would be queen yet? I've been busy with Impression, so I've missed some things." She nodded slowly and watched him.
Impression trotted with his mother, stopping to look or touch something, but realizing his mother kept going he would quickly catch up. He shook his stubby mane and trotted with a small smile. He wanted to meet the herd badly, always making new friends and such. Flicking his also short tail he stopped as his mother did, dipping his head to his father and standing nearer to him with a smile. He looked up at the two as his mother spoke, and listened, he could tell she wanted to lead the land. And he thought she deserved it, she had been here first, and she had told him stories of the old lead and how she seemed to like her. He was proud of his mother, and would be really happy for her if she did become queen. ooc;; linds said I could post

Spearmint heard her lover's call as she trotted through the looming tree's of Shadow Forest. Spearmint's dark soot pillars carried her bodice through the trees, her body like a snake slithering. She snaked though the tree's, her bodice meandering as her daggers left moons in the ground. Her listeners were perked, well atuned to Arrow's breathing. Her daggers hit the soil as she cantered forward, her orbs sparkling like stars in the ebony night. She was so excited, her hummingbird thrumming a constant pace.
A lithe shadow followed her. His strong legs were dark auburn, looking a pale tan in the night. His pillars were long as he gracefully cantered after his dam. His short red whipcord flicked as the moon glimmered through the tree-tops. He smirked at the thought of being lead foal. Already he was thinking of being lead and looking up to his sire. He slowed to a trot, his bodice sliding along his dam's as she slowed
Spearmint's listeners were pricked as she stepped out of the tree's into the Stream clearing. She felt adrenaline and she snorted softly to herself, nudging her colt forward to encourage him. There was no need. He had seen his sire and immediately liked him.
Have you decided who would be queen yet? I've been busy with Impression, so I've missed some things.
[/b] Her silver bodice glowed under the moon as she came to a halt, her pillars extended. She wondered why Emerald had not stayed away.It was normal for mares to stay away for a bit, but to Spearmint it was impossible. She was drawn to Arrow like a magnet. She held her skull high, realizing no horse had seen her yet. She took a deep breath, knowing Arrow would not mind. The adrenaline of the run coursed through her and the sight of seeing Arrow after two long, painful days made her voice almost catch in her throat. She swallowed it though and spoke her words with strong pride, her orbs looking at Arrow. It was a statement, directed at Arrow almost to show her dedication and delight of her love for him. "I am" She said. Her voice was strong and courageous as she answered Emerald's question. The mare's orbs sparkled as she looked at Arrow. She barley glanced at Emerald as she bounded over to Arrow, her excitement barley contained. Her colt was caught off guard but her quickly improvised and followed his mother, his moves more silent and sleek, like a crimson shadow across the ground. Traveling slowly through the last few meters of her old home, Snow Mountain was disappearing a little at a time under her irons. Sorrow for once filled the mahogany vix as she moved on, chocolate orbs blinked quickly to push a unshed tear from the corner of her left eye. Best not to shed them for the now gone lover of hers. Holding her cranium proudly as she walked on, looking over her shoulder slowly to scan the lands behind her...hopeing against hope that the familiar sable form would catch her eye and everything would some how be normal again. Nickering softly for her sons to catch up with her, each 6 months old now and handsome...proud as their father ever was.
Treading over the fine line of Incognito's border and breaking into a gentle lope careful to keep it slow so that the two titans could easily keep up with their dam. As the wilderness passed, so did Boodica's present mood...looking forward to the promise of a brighter tomorrow. Silver Arrow had given the three of them a new home for as long as she might want it, that was their agreement. That she would be able to leave just as soon as she wanted. Which she would do as soon as her sons were old enough to have a land of their own.
Coming back to the present brought the old baroness the view that she was hoping for, Shadow Forest, loomed before them. Calling impatiently to the two foals that were bucking around behind her, acting like fools as normal. Shaking her skull as she walked over the border and waited for Nytec and Roman to do that same before continuing on. The land moved quickly under steel irons, sweat covered her thick boa as she approached the three equines and two small foals. Nickering a soft greeting to Silver Arrow, no love present...for their was none and would never be any. Boodica had given her heart to Incognito and truly was not hers to give away again.
"Greetings Silver Arrow..."
The jezebel didn't know the other two mares so she nodded her head to them respectfully before looking back to watch her magnificent sons dance forth.
Keeping his sable form near his dam, emerald visionaries watching his surroundings as well as his twin and his mother protectively. Knowing that Roman would never be as powerful as he was, he took it upon himself to keep his smaller, slightly weaker brother safe. Thrashing his might skull around as he kept careful pace with his mother, feathered hooves throwing up small poofs of powdery snow...what little there was around.
As he watched as the larger shadow forest loomed ahead, he snorted anxiously. His blood pumping at the scent of another stallion, though small and young he was already experiencing the reactions that older stallions were effected with. Onxy bod rippled with muscles that were already rock hard from his efforts to become just as powerful stallion as his father had once been. Glancing back at his blood stained twin who was lathered with sweat from the exertion of the road done traveled...a soft chuckle escaped his velvets before he nipped his dam's flank and began to buck. Though with Boodica's stern look, he quickly reined it in and settled back to his dam's flank at the sight of the other equines as well as Silver Arrow. Bright Emerald orbs holding more knowledge that should have been given to one so young bore into the horses curiously.
The smaller of Incognito's twin sons ran along side his mother, paying little attention to his more mighty brother. To him Nytec worked on things that would come in time...like his buff outward appearance. They were Frisian Quarter Horse mix, they would have little trouble building up their bodies...though Nytec's brain was no where as full as his twins. Roman was the strategist of the two, always figuring things out that his brother just couldn't understand. At least it was something that his mother would be proud of his for. Twisting his attention back to the task at hand he followed obediently, caring little where he was as long as his mother wasn't far away...he was a little clingy when it came to his mother. The sight of the other horses made him skidish, so hiding behind his mother's strong form he listened.
Word Count: 759 My Muse Level: bad/average/good/excellent My Mood: To much on my mind Boodica's Mood: Sorrowful, yet anxious Nytec's Mood: Proud and Anxious Roman's Mood: Shy and Curious

Alistar woke up with a start. "Mother?" He mumbled, before the previous days events caught up with him. He was staying with the kind Arrow, not his harsh mother. Still, where was he then? Or the herd? Not that he would recognize the mares and foals. He had only seem quick glimpses of them yesterday.
The cocoa foal stood up on wobbly coal-hued legs. Alistar took in a deep breath through his nose and let it out in the heavy weight of a sigh. He remembered now. Arrow was calling a meeting today, so everybody could meet each other and catch up on news. Ali was nervous to say the least. When wasn't he? But this time he was especially anxious.
As mean as Cyprian was, she wouldn't let anyone else hurt him. He wasn't sure if Arrow would turn a blind eye if the herd was cruel to him. He just didn't know. Alistar took a deep breath and whispered a mantra his mother had once said to him, to calm him. 'Don't worry, it doesn't do any good. Don't hope, it will only be crushed.' There was more to it, but Ali didn't care to remember.
He half-ran to the meeting. He would be the last to arrive. He bit his lip nervously, but made his appearance still. Alistar came up from behind Arrow, and murmured hello, but otherwise didn't say anything.

The red femme Arrow loved, his best friend, Emerald was seen through dark brown orbs running through the trees with a colt, and he smiled happily. Flicking his tail excitedly he snorted. She nuzzld their foal, Impression and she greeted the large brute with a nuzzle. the gentle soul replied with a nuzzle too, tenderly. Lowering his neck he smiled at Impression. "Hello there son, how's your day been going so far?" His voice was soft and calm, fatherly and proud.
I'm sorry about Routterrie..Have you decided who would be queen yet? I've been busy with Impression, so I've missed some things.
Arrow nodded with a small smile. "Thank-you Emerald, and it is ok. I wish you to have as much time with our foal as you wish. I will take him for a run, get some energy off later." He said as he winked. "And I have chosen." He said leaving it at that for now. His lady stepped from the trees with a champainge coloured colt, and this surprised him. Neither were that colour, the colt should have turned out to be black, grey or white. Smiling he welcomed Irish with a nuzzle as she bounced over beside him and he was excited too.
Flicking his tail he smiled at the colt. "Hello there son. I am Arrow, your dad." He said with the same voice he'd talked to Impression with. Their son was strong, and powerful, courageous too like the both of them and Arrow couldn't have been any more proud of his two sons, standing by him. Boodica walked into the clearing so to speak and Arrow stepped forward to nuzzle her and smiling and nodding at her words before stepping back. Everyone was almost here. Except for Arabella, Raven, and Alistar. Smiling at Boodica's sons he snorted as hot air warmed the air around them. The clearing was lightly covered in snow, as the sun shone through the trees warming them, it was not cold at all and Arrow dounted a freezing winter. It would be mild.
Arrow turned around and recognized the voice. "Hello Alistar." He said kindly. As the colt moved aorund the mares and foals to take a spot. Nodding he smiled, he would not speak much until everyone was here. Raven... The black mare trotted through the woods, she was happy to be with Arrow, but she missed Cazen. They had been friends when her father's herd had come to Arrow for help, and Inco traded her for Arrow's assistance and she was loving it. She carried his foal, due in a few days. Or now she though a little worridly. Coming up to the meeting she greeted Arrow with a friendly wink and smile. "Hello everyone." Her voice was soft and kind as she stood beside a red mare, who seemed kind as always. Emerald she thought it was. Arrow smiled when Arabella showed up, nickering softly he smiled as she took her place beside Emerald and Impression. Flicking his tail he would start the meeting, without Raven he guessed. His maw broke, preparing to speak.
"Well I'd like to welcome you all. I know all of you are looking at new faces and I would like to introduce everyone." He looked beside him to the two mares, Irish and Emerald. "Well this is Irish. She has been chosen for new Queen and our son the heir. Emerald over here, is the second in charge mare and both her and Irish need to be treated with as much respect as I. And my son with Emerald, Impression. A worthy heir, and will recieve much help from myself in this world. That is Alistar, came here, choosing I over his mother and will stay until he is two. Arabella, traded by Incognito for my help has come and is bearing my foal. Boodica, rescued from Incognito's herd, he'd left and has joined us with her two sons, Nytec and Roman. Raven has come from Sandy Beach where no stallion was and I found her, she will be joining us soon I hope."

Emeralds orbs watched as another mare stepped from the trees, Impression did not move when he saw the mother and son, but stood tall and waited for them to speak. Emerald watched them mare barley look at her and answer her question meant for Arrow. She gritted her teeth and he face became solid, she stood for a moment, not smiling at the mare or Arrow.
She was taken by surprise and wanted to leave, she had been here before Irish and had been friends with Routterrie, and yet Arrow just had to pick the prettier mare over a trusted one? Emerald thought Arrow was an idiot she just stood and shook her head, taking two steps so she was not standing beside him any longer and glancing at Impression quickly. She did not think Arrow would do that, she had been here first, her mother was a lead in a huge herd! She knew how to lead a land. She flicked her tail and did not look a Arrow as the rest of the herd came, she just stood silently and nodded to Arabella, the mare standing beside her. No smiling like she normally did...
She was tense and annoyed, she would not treat this Irish with as much respect as Arrow, this mare was so in love with Arrow she would not lead a land properly, of course, this is just what Emerald thought. The fea felt like Arrow didn't care about her, that he could bring any new mare into the land and make them queen and higher than a mare who he trusted and had had in his herd longer and think everything would be fine. And to make it worse, Irish had only glanced at Emerald while she spoke to her. She'd never trust Arrow again, he'd broken the trust, Irish had been here long enough for the brute to breed her and fall in love with her.
Impression could feel his mothers tense body and back away from his father as the stallion reached out to nuzzle him. He still stood tall, as if he could protect his mother from what was bothering her. He stomped the ground once, and watched the others. His mane was a little longer now, as was his tail. His mother had been teaching him things and showing him around for a few days now, and he had gotten use to the land.
As Arrow spoke to introduce the herd, he realized what his mother might be mad at, it was something to do with the new queen, or the herd members. Either way, Impression would not let anything hurt his mother thats what he decided standing beside her. He nudged his mother and waited, she still just stood silently, only glancing at him with an obviously fake smile.

[occ: You left out Flame! ]
Spearmint snorted and tossed her granite skull as she trotted to stand beside Arrow. She noticed the other fae turn and step away. She almost smirked at it, knowing she was jealous. She was not normally that type, loving others being jealous and being cruel, but her hormones were still running wild from the foal, and she just felt smug she was actually a mare that go respect for once.
She smiled and welcomed each horse, knowing she would get to know each of them better as the days went on. She looked curiously at the mare named Boodica. She seemed like a wise fae, yet she did not show it in her age. She had 2 more colts with her and Spearmint's listeners flickered back only for a second. 4 colts in the herd. They needed more fillies. Already she was thinking of the herd.
Flame snorted as he spun around to see 2 more colts coming. He pranced a little, his little bronze-hued whipcord whisking from side to side. He eyed the crimson mares colt playfully, yet a little annoyed. The colt's dam was acting aggressive to his dam. No fighting had been done yet, but he wondered with anticipation when it would.
Flame stood still, the facade of being the loyal, serious youngster felt like it was wearing thin. Sure he wanted to play and frolick, but he also wanted to please his mother and be well mannered. He wanted to grow strong and fight, and he would only get that by playing and mock fighting when he was a yearling.
He snorted and psan to face the tiwns, his orbs glowing. Even though he didn't play much and listened more, he was cunning and lithe, maybe not as fast.
"Hi,I'm Flame.Want to play tag? "
He asked them. He also asked the other colt near him, the one with the blood-hued mother. He cocked his bronze skull to the side.
Spearmint snorted as her colt asked the other mare if they wanted to play. She misled in encouragement, glad that he was getting out there and playing. He would grow strong and run like the wind one day. Her orbs narrowed as she hear him ask Emerald's colt and she almost felt like protesting and preventing it. But she didn't realizing it was the colt's dam she had problems with, not him.

The blood stained vix stood quietly listening to the goings ons of the other mares. Taking notice that the red mare wasn't pleased about Irish becoming Queen...letting her mind turn to the place in time when she herself had feared Haviana would become Incognito's queen...though it was in the past now. Turns out that neither of them would become his beloved, or even see him again.
Sighing softly at a sudden rush of sorrow that treatened to bring tears to the corners of her earthen viewers. The vix had no interest in any position in the herd so turning her attention back to her sons who where now at her sides.
Nytec stood silently next to his dam, watching the mares. They held little interest to him, he knew that they belonged to Silver Arrow so he snorted softly and turned his orbs upon the small foal who was introducing himself. "Hello Flame, I'm Nytec...If my mother would allow it as well as yours...then I would be glad to play tag." His voice was soft yet deep like his sires, so much like Incognito and getting more so by the day.
The crimson foal stood silently beside his mother, his chin resting upon her rump. His dark orbs keeping quiet documetary of everything around him...names, positions in the herd and such. Flicking his still slightly fluffy plume against his flanks to push away the biting insects.

Alistar stood away from everyone else. He felt slightly out of place here, but he wasn't sure if he wanted to mix with the other foals, per se. He was quite comfortable standing were he was. Still, it would be nice to ask to play. Ali would say no of course...He sighed, he didn't know what he wanted.

ooc: sorry! Pretend he said Flame!
The brute stood still, he didn;t have to move his head to see everyone as they were in a circle now. (right?) Emerald backed off and looked upset and therir son Impression held a protective stance. Emerald seemed tense as she put on a fake smile and he felt kind of bad, but she needed to realize life was unfair sometimes, and Irish was Queen. Nickering a comforting nicker to Emerald he went on.
"Well now you know their names. All children, are welcome to play tag with Flame." He said with a smile on his face. He looked over at Boodica, maybe with her sons out of her hair she may be able to relax and talk to some of his mares. He was now dissmissing the mares to talk to him or the others and get to know eachother.
Boodica should be here for the rest of her life, and if he could help make her happier he would. Breking the cirlehe trotted to her and smiled. "Hello Boodica. How do you like Shadow Forests?" He said flicking his tail. Arabella smiled and nodded, auds moving forward at Arrow's words. Her young filly, Moon stood beside her and Arrow was proud. She smiled as Moon walked to Roman and smiled. "Hello." Her tiny little voice said. "I'm Moon." The black and white filly said. Arabella moved to Irish, dipping her head. Arabella smiled pleasantly. "Hello Irish, I'd like to personally introduce myself, I'm Arabella, traded to arrow from Inco."
Note: Arabelle and Moon can be adopted.
