Heat waves drifted across the meadow floor and a humid wind criss-crossed through the few flowers which remained. The grass was brittle and splintered beneath the immense pressure the fatale's large, hooves. They seemed caustic to the topography with it's weak steak, but there was no intention of malice. Thick appendages shifted gently beneath tri-coloured cadaver, ivory pelt brilliant and fleshy beneath the suns glare. Charcoal and auburn blotches glistened and flattered her frame, with pallid tresses drifting down her nape and posterior. This femme fatale was a refreshment in this heat, but there was a wildness in her blue eyes. Movements were careless and flurty, trotting with her dial held high and turning rapidly to look around her. Orbs were wide, searching the land, wondering who was here and why. At the age of three she didn't know a lot and her experience in this world was just that - three years.
Suddenly the fae crow-hopped, a fly having bitten her hindquarters and thus her retaliation. Scream was emitted as if harmed, but she was merely immature in showing tolerance about those things - or anything for that matter.
Scythes churned the ground before stopping near a trickling stream. Dial shook, tresses splintered across muscular nape as she tried to scatter the pests. She drank affectionately, unaware of her surroundings. Vital was too young to know, and too young to notice.

Dragon looked around these Meadows, away from his land, worried. I'm not quitting![I/] he thought. He saw a brown and white mare. He trotted up to her. "Hello miss," he bowed, "may I know your name?" he asked. " My name is Dragon," he told her.

What do you want, huh? You want to fight? Come on Bastard, try me.Immediately the fae became defensive, posturing herself for a fight from this unknown brute. Aerial sensors twitched slightly to her words, but they were mostly pinned to show her ill demeanor. I am no miss, just a mare. She responded coldly, but sincerely. What do you want? Blunt, always sooooo blunt. She snorted, watching Dragon with caution.

Dragon took one step back to let her know he's not threatening. "I'm sorry," he blinked. "I want to talk and it is your choice if you want to come with me to live in my herd or not," he said. He took another step back because he didn't want to fight, but only if she wants to.

Herd? Vital didn't remember anything about a herd. Where did that come from? Even though the brute retreated she didn't let her guard down. What are you talking about a herd for, Dragon? She inquired placidly, unaware of the reasons of this land.

Dragon answered her question, "my herd. It's the Sandy Beach." He nodded. Has she ever lived in a herd? Wow, she could've been alone all her life, he thought sadly. He only took one step forward slowly.

Vital looked at him with a blank, mocking stare with his reply. Okay, and your point? He didn't actually answer her question, and her youth was showing more and more with every word she spoke. She made no reaction as he approached her slightly, merely looked at him awkwardly.

This mare doesn't even appreciate anything! he thought. "My point is that if you want to join my herd, okay. If you don't then fine. I'll leave your sight," he said. He took one step behind, getting ready to leave.

She snorted, finding the stud to be quite rude. Listen here brute. I don't know where the hell I'm at, not everyone does when they come into a new land you know, not everyones smart like you. She didn't holler at him but spoke calmly, but rather threateningly. You come out of no where talking about herds and then you want to insult me? Then ask me to join you? What kind of leader are you, sheesh. If you want to leave, then leave. I thought leaders were supposed to be... leaders. Se rolled her eyes and turned her rump to him, starting to graze. She couldn't help it if she was young. She was never trying to be mean, just didn't understand.

Dragon was disgusted by her behavior. "I'm acting like this because you are too confusing! I can't act like a leader if you're not helping me," he said. H snorted back at her. "I'm not leaving," he said his final words just standing there, waiting for a real answer.

The mare snorted defiantly, raising a brow as she turned to face him. So you get a mare that is different or you can't handle, and its all her fault? She looked at him, tilting her own head in confusiong. And you shouldn't have to act like a leader, and I shouldn't have to help you... especially if I don't know you need any. She's three, what the hell can she do? Can he not tell her age? Granted she's not blaming it on her youth, but mister Dragon ain't perfect neither.

Dragon looked at her with an apologizing look. "I'm really sorry. It's just that I always follow the mare's choice of who she goes with. I'm sorry if I have upseted you. I was just thinking of my lead. We have a foal and it's getting lonely there. I'll only leave your sight if you want me to," he said.

Vital listened to the brute curiously, thinking he was a little bi-polar. Well I never knew I was making a decision on anything, Dragon. She snorted again at his statement of his leaving, eyeing him as she spoke. You're a little too confusing for me, Dragon, and lead me in in different directions. If you're wondering if I'll go with you to your herd, it's a no, but I'll keep you in mind. She prepared herself for whatever may happen next.

Dragon lowered his head. "I'm sorry then," he apologized. He turned himself and left the Meadows.

Surprise snorted as the scent of a mare drifted through his nostrils. They flared outwards, there ebony tops glistening. His whipcord flicked, swiping a fly away from his coffee coat in the sweltering heat. His coal mane shimmered and he shook it. The rising heat was making him uncomfortable, and he was unsure on whether he wanted to claim another mare while the risk of a drought was so high. Mystical forest still had green grass, so he persisted
Surprise trotted out, his coal mane shaking in the uncomfortable warm breeze. The mare drank long and carelessly from the stream, enjoying the trickle of cool water running down her throat. Surprise walked up quietly, his hooves making no audible sound on the dry forest floor.
