Rasta edged under the tree with the other mares, the rain wasn't bothering her but she knew that her body could be used to heat up the other two. Twisting her towers towards the stallion as if she had picked up on what he was thinking about. To be completely honest she did want a foal but she didn't want everything to go to crap if she had one either.

Delilah was getting a bit cold from the breeze that carried the rain in an out of place direction. She nuzzled Hope, proud of course. Hope was beautoful and getting older. She was almost one year old now. Two more years and she could leave if she wanted. She probably would, if she was a Lead like her mother she'd be great.
She wondered if Gladiator would breed some of the other mares, well now he could only Rasta but still. She flicked her black and white tail and snorted softly, blowing some warm air on Hope's head.

Gladiator walked into the trees, the shelter, as they might call it now. He stood beside Delilah and Hope, watching them. "Hopefully.. The rain will stop soon." He said aloud.
But then he heard thunder, and saw lightning from above. A storm had hit them, without them knowing. He looked around in a rush, spotting a nearby cave. He nudged them towards it, telling them it was a safe place for now.

Delilah nuzzled Gladiator, but then the storm hit and she and Hope were nudged to a large cave. She nuzzled Hope. "Come on Hope." She led her into the tall cave and stood there.

Rasta watched as the three of them wandered into the cave. Snorting softly as she stood next to Diana, not leaving her friend's side for anything. Dipping her skull slowly so that she might take a look at the broken bone within the mare's limb. Knowing that a break like that could quickly and easily kill a horse making them easy targets for preditors. Though Diana had a slight advantage to other equines...she had Rasta at her side to protect her.
The rain was cold as it began to pelt her bodice once again, chilling her quickly to the bone. A sharp shudder escaped the mare as she pushed up against Diana gently, hoping to keep her warm as well.

Hope turned away from her mother and slid down the hill. She stood beside Diana and gently nudged her, encouraging her to keep moving. She kept close and gave an encouraging smile. A horse in need was a horse she would help. She gently nudged the mare and pressed her bodice and pelt against hers.
